Most POS systems require their own devices. An all-in-one counter terminal runs into four figures depending on the vendor; printer, drawer and handheld come on top. The certified security device is not an extra you could leave out — it is required by law.

The ranges below come from a dated market overview across several vendors. They are not a comparison with PosIQ — we name our price in conversation — but they show what a POS is usually made of.

The devices are usually already there.

Almost every business already has iPhones and iPads. PosIQ runs on them instead of putting a second class of device into service. If you add a device, you buy it wherever it is cheapest — not from the POS vendor.

For one to ten devices there is no monthly per-device fee. That is the actual difference: the number of devices does not decide the bill.

Sales, payment methods and tax rates come together in the day-end close. The Z-report does not have to be reconstructed from separate tools in the evening.

PosIQ Connect links the POS and accounting through a secure pairing code. Completed day-end reports can be sent deliberately to BuchhaltIQ without a CSV detour.
